Brisbane's Orange Sky Laundry

We love Orange Sky Laundry 💛 Australia's first mobile laundry for the homeless. Since the early days our little Laundromat at Taringa has been championing this fabulous service in Brisbane.
With our #makeadifferencemonday Fundraiser in December we donated $875.00. Now with the busier cooler months this week we have decided to #sharethelove and donate another $420.00.
Orange Sky Laundry now has 3 mobile Laundromats bringing the simple pleasure of fresh laundry to the homeless in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Melbourne.

So if you can please #donateawash as little as $6.00 will give someone in need fresh clean clothes.

Orange Sky Laundry donation

What a wonderful way to start 2015! We met Nicholas and Hannah from 'Orange Sky Laundry' up at Wickham Park, Spring Hill this morning to hand over the ceremonial cheque of $875.00 raised from our #makeadifferencemonday December fundraiser.

Orange Sky Laundry provides a much needed service to the homeless and those in need by taking a Laundromat to them! This self contained little Laundry tows a generator, has a hose to connect to water, 2 LG Washers and 2 LG Dryers. Volunteers help Nicholas and Lucas run the laundry, in an hour dirty laundry is washed and dryed. This is a wonderful way to offer clean, fresh clothes to those who probably cannot afford the $6 to use a Laundromat. And we all know how great it feels to put on fresh, fluffy clothes from the laundry!
