First of all our lovely local Centre will be the host location for 'Friday Flowers' on Friday Valentines Day!!  Wooley Street local Florist Natasha will have ordered flowers and more in the Courtyard on the day. Or you could pop in to 'Smooth At Taringa' and grab a facial or massage treatment Voucher to indulge your loved one.  Or maybe a couples voucher so you can both feel the love. ❤❤❤

Or you could pop in to The LITTLE Art Studio, right next door to the Laundromat and grab a piece of original love art, something sexy art, just some plain beautiful art or even some locally made jewellery!!  The prices and choices are just fantastic!! ❤❤❤

Or you could pop in to Abode Cafe and just spoil your loved one with delicious food and coffee.  Sit in the lovely green, courtyard, enjoy the view and each others company.

Using a Laundry- check your pockets please!

Please please check your pockets before putting your laundry in the Washers or Dryers. 

Many items can cause damage not only to your clothes, but to the machines as well.

• Worst and most common offenders are:

• Pens - not pretty when your clothes comes out

• Screws, bolts, nuts, nails - These are very problematic, causes tears to clothes and serious damage to the internals of the machines and dryers.  :(

• Coins - lucky us or next customer!!  ;)

• Tissues, paper - no damage - just lots of mess on your other clothes. 
• Lipsticks, lip gloss, lip zinc -  leaves a waxy mess on your clothes
• Gum - urgh melts through your clothes and machines
• Hair pins, clips - Gets caught in the inner workings, may tear clothes

Getting feedback on our Laundry

We love Feedback, no really we do!!  Good or bad, we like and need to know.  It's important to us that we know if you have any problems with machines, or coin jams, or even if you just have a great suggestion!

One of our wonderful regulars 'Lorraine' had suggested that it would be great to have a side table to put her drink or phone on, she then said that it would be great to have it under the powerpoint where you can charge your phones or tablets!  Done.  So thanks Lorraine!

Other customers suggested the Television and the WiFi.  Some give us great marketing ideas.  We love our laundry and we love our customers more.  So when we receive a lovely review or rating, we are just chuffed!  If we receive a negative one....then we will happily fix it, resolve it, just make sure we do better!

Laundry Tips - Towels

 I really don't like it when my towels start getting scratchy.  There is nothing better, than warm fluffy towels but it seems after awhile the build up detergents caught in the fibres will do this to all towels.  And that is no matter how good quality they are, or your softener is.

So, here is a great tip to 'recharge' your towels!  

And remember.... the Dexter *express* frontloaders hold more than you would think.  In the photo I have place one very heaped basket of washing, which has loosely filled the bowl.  Once the water fills, the laundry compacts and you get a perfect wash in 23 minutes.  

Don't forget that if you need to 'recharge' you can pop around the corner to abode cafe, grab an espresso, something to eat and relax/recharge in our beautiful green courtyard!
