You have a choice of 3 different machines when you come in to wash.
$4 are Top Loaders
$6 and $8 are Frontloaders.
How do you choose which is right???
"Our recommendations below"....
$8.00 - are the Dexter *EXPRESS* Triple load Front loaders. These machines have no agitators therefore they can hold 2 plus normal size loads in them. They may not look that big inside, but it is deceptive. They require much less detergent (don't overdo the soap or it can over suds) They are designed for the clothes to be packed firmly just enough for your hand to sit on top. They give an excellent wash and have a spin extraction speed of 200G Force - best in the Industry! Leaving your clothes cleaner, drier, faster.
***NOTE**** The 'Triple Load' is the best machine to use for Doona's, blankets, underlays, curtains or big towel loads. These machines only takes approx 20 - 23 mins. 'A great time saver'
$6.00 - there are 3 Dexter *EXPRESS* Double load Front loaders, these machines have no agitators therefore they can hold 1 heaped basket or two normal size loads in them. They may not look that big but it is deceptive and they are designed for you to pack your clothes in quite firmly. They give an excellent wash, require less detergent (don't put too much soap in or they can over suds) and the fast 200 G Force extraction spins your clothes to a drier finish. Saving you time & money in the Dryers!! The 'Double Loader' is the best machine for two normal basket loads/or one heaped basket of wash. This machine only takes approx 20 - 23 mins. 'A great time saver'
$4.00 - we have three $4.00 Maytag Top loaders that were purchased in 2012. These machines have agitators and have the smallest load capacity of all our machines. They are suitable for normal basket loads of washing, they are designed to be packed loosely, so that the agitator can move the water around the clothes to clean them. Ensure that clothes are not loaded above the agitator, if overloaded it is quite possible that your clothes will sit out above the water level, not washing at all leaving detergent still on them.
They are NOT the recommended machines to use for Doona's, large blankets. These machines take approx 35 mins.
~ NOTE for Toploader use!
Please don't overload the Top loaders, if you pack them to tightly the water will not be able to move around your clothes to clean them, the machine will not be able to rinse the detergent from your wash.

Please do not put too much detergent in these machines. They will quickly over suds your wash and the machines will stop. Use only what is recommended on your detergent guide. We provide FREE high quality eco laundry liquid and fabric softener suited to our Front loaders and Top Loaders.

Dryers
The new Dexter *express* Dryers are BIG and can hold 2 - 3 normal basket loads of washing. They work most efficiently if you load them with at least one full basket of washing. An average load of washing will take approximately 24 minutes to dry. If you insert $3 at the start you will get the full time use of the heat before the one minute cool down period at the end.
